Having failed to build a nation, a century after the creation of Greater Lebanon, a group of actors, breaking with the traditional and idyllic representation of the national model, decide to create a form of an ordeal in order to conclude their involvement in this failure. The play attempts to raise the question of the games of power practiced on the bodies and desires of the post-war generation in Lebanon through the intrigue of Henrik Ibsen’s “The Pretenders”.
